Galen strives to help the clients he serves make it to their financial “finish line” by providing the highest caliber of customer service and operations support from the point of onboarding and as the client relationship develops. Galen is detail-oriented and understands that clients of any business appreciate a personal touch. For this reason, he endeavors to cultivate relationships with those he serves that are based around trust, enabling him and his team to better assess their needs and, in turn, guide their investments.

Prior to Long Run becoming an Independent RIA, Galen was employed by A.G. Edwards, Janney Montgomery Scott, and Raymond James for a combined 14 years. Galen earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Hobart College in 1991.

Originally from Rockland, Maine, Galen has made Lake Placid and the Adirondacks home since 1992. In his free time, Galen enjoys spending time in the woods, on the peaks, and on the water in all seasons with his wife, Cali Brooks, and their daughter, Maisie.
